We will assist you in contacting DHSS to apply for services or ask for a transfer from your current agency.

We will assist you in hiring your personal care attendant.

You will have a case manager assigned to you from the beginning. They will be there to guide your through the process and help you as you live independently. We will contact you at least once a month to ensure your satisfaction with your CDS Services and that your needs are being met. Your Case Manager will also visit you regularly in your home. Along with providing quality CDS Services, we also provide the five core services of Information and Referral, Peer Counseling, Advocacy, Independent Living Skills Training, and Transitions. We will do everything we can to assist you in remaining in your home and help you to access the community resources you need to do so.

You are the employer and your caregiver/attendant is your employee. Blue Skies’ staff will help you complete all the necessary financial paperwork. Our staff handles all of the tax withholdings and payments to the IRS, Missouri Department of Revenue, Division of Employment Security, and local taxes. Blue Skies will also work with you to resolve tax issues from previous CDS agencies.
